I joined the firm in 2008 and cover corporate and commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions, commercial property transactions, joint ventures and general corporate advice.

I regularly advise a diverse client group regarding their business and commercial affairs.

I’ve spoken at a number of seminars and contributed to regular business updates for clients. I qualified in 2006 and have worked with a focus on transactional and business transfers involving companies with significant property assets.

Prior to commencing on a legal career I worked in the music industry for Skint Records/Sony Independent Networks for 5 years and at the Citizens Advice Bureau.

A win for the ‘Gig economy?’- UK Supreme court rules Deliveroo Riders are not employees

After 7 years of litigation, the ruling is clear. Deliveroo riders cannot be recognised as employees with five judges claiming the contracts between riders and the company did not constitute an “employment relationship” because riders were able to use another person to cover their deliveries without Deliveroo’s involvement plus riders are free to reject offers of work, to make themselves unavailable and to undertake work for competitors.
